Born in France, Frederick Pichon earned his Master in Architecture from the École d'Architecture de Paris-Belleville. His paintings reflect design, architecture, science, and history. The tone is contemporary, with composition and geometry playing a prominent role. Incorporating various materials as well as computer images to create collages, Pichon’s artistic research emphasizes the relation between man and technology.
Taking the viewer to another level of consciousness, Pichon seeks to reconcile art and science with images of a state of mind or more solid impressions based on visual experience. His work reflects the frailty of the human condition in a post-modern world where technology is both all encompassing and a liability. Frederick Pichon lives in Colorado.
